Mosquitoes are among the most dangerous and widespread pests in Pakistan, known for transmitting deadly diseases and causing significant discomfort. Found in both urban and rural areas, especially where stagnant water collects, these tiny pests pose serious health risks to homes, hotels, offices, schools, restaurants, and industrial zones.

At Apex Core Enterprises, we help clients across Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Gujranwala manage and eliminate mosquito infestations with safe, professional pest control solutions.

What Are Mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes are small, flying insects belonging to the family Culicidae. Only the female mosquitoes bite, as they need blood to lay eggs. They are attracted to body heat, sweat, carbon dioxide, and light — making them particularly active in the evening and during monsoon season.

Common Species Found in Pakistan:

  • Aedes aegypti – Transmits dengue, chikungunya, and Zika virus

  • Anopheles – Known for spreading malaria

  • Culex – Causes filariasis and West Nile virus

🛑 Signs of Mosquito Infestation

  • Constant buzzing sounds near the ears

  • Multiple itchy, red bite marks

  • Mosquito larvae (“wrigglers”) in standing water

  • Increased mosquito activity at dawn and dusk

  • Bites concentrated on exposed areas like arms and legs

🧠 Did You Know?

  • A single female mosquito can lay up to 300 eggs at once.

  • Mosquitoes can detect your breath and body heat from 20 meters away.

  • Standing water left for just 3 days is enough for mosquito larvae to hatch.
